Trust, Security & Privacy

SNABPI collects attendee, speaker, sponsor, and vendor information solely to run the conference experience — registration, RSVP, scheduling, communications, and on-site logistics. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with advertisers.

Depending on how you interact with the site, we may collect:

• Registration details: name, email address, phone number, role/affiliation, country of residence, and organization or job title.
• RSVP details: passport country and (when an invitation letter is requested) passport name and number, travel dates, dietary and accessibility notes.
• Speaker, sponsor, and vendor profile information you submit.
• Contact form messages.
• Payment information — processed by our third-party payment provider, Stripe. SNABPI does not store your card details.
• Anonymous site analytics — page paths, country (derived from request headers), and a per-session random identifier. No IP addresses or cookies are used for analytics.

The site is delivered behind Cloudflare protection, providing TLS termination, DDoS mitigation, and a global edge network. Application data is stored in a managed PostgreSQL database with encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest. Row-Level Security is enforced on every table containing personal data: only verified administrators can read attendee, RSVP, speaker, sponsor, vendor, and contact records, and write access is scoped to the record owner or authorized admins.

• To confirm registration and send conference communications.
• To prepare invitation letters for visa purposes, when you request one.
• To plan catering, accessibility accommodations, and venue logistics.
• To improve the site using aggregated, anonymous traffic statistics.
• To process payments for attendance.

We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling.

We do not sell your personal data and we do not share it with advertisers. We share your data only with service providers engaged to operate our registration process and event, and only to the extent necessary for each provider to perform its function on our behalf. Each provider is authorized to process your personal data solely to provide its services to SNABPI and is prohibited from using that data for its own purposes.

Payments are processed by Stripe, a third-party PCI-DSS-compliant payment provider. Card details are collected and processed directly by Stripe through its secure systems. Your payment is subject to Stripe's own terms and privacy policy. SNABPI does not collect or store your full card details, but we may retain transaction-related details such as your name, email address, invoice and receipt details, payment status, and billing records.

We do not use third-party advertising cookies. Authentication uses a secure session token required for sign-in. Site analytics use a short-lived session identifier stored in your browser's sessionStorage, which clears when you close the tab.

You have the following rights concerning the processing of your personal data:

1. Request access to the personal data we hold about you.
2. Request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data.
3. Request deletion of your data.
4. Object to or restrict certain uses of your data.
5. Withdraw consent or unsubscribe from communications via the link in every email.

Registration and RSVP data is retained for the duration of the conference cycle and a reasonable period afterwards for reporting and continuity across editions. Passport details provided for the issuance of invitation letters are deleted shortly after the letter is issued. Data used solely for future-event communication is retained until you unsubscribe. You can request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data by emailing us at the address below. Newsletter recipients can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every message.

SNABPI is based in the United States and the personal data we collect is stored and processed there. If you register or use our platform from outside the US, your data will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country. Regardless of where your information is processed, we take measures to comply with applicable data protection laws relating to such transfers.

Photographs and videos may be taken during the event and used by SNABPI for records and promotional purposes on our website, social media, and/or future event materials. By registering for this event, you acknowledge that your image may be captured and used in this way. If you prefer not to be photographed or filmed, please notify event organizers and we will try to accommodate your request, where possible.
